Thinking about next year's holidays? Before you book anything have a look at this. Holidays in Spain, Canaries and the Balearics are very popular with families and couples alike. Holidays in Spain provide great beaches, soaring temperatures, a family friendly atmosphere and are only a short flight away. Each year more and more Brits travel here and so it is becoming more commercialized and prices are being bumped up.
The recession has hit us all hard this year and as a result many people are struggling to afford holidays abroad, especially when taking into account spending money etc. Look beyond Spain and you'll see there are ways and means around this.We all tend to think travelling to Spain is the cheapest option for our family holidays, but that's not always the case!
I visited Goa, India earlier this year and was blown away by the prices! Not only getting there but the cost of living when there. Comparing this holiday to recent years when I have travelled to Majorca, opened my eyes and now there's no looking back for me! Goa has everything your average Spanish holiday has and even more, from friendly faces to superb local restaurants to fantastic beaches, and all at a fraction of the cost you would pay when in Spain. Don't let the long flight put you off, you are getting such great value for money. You can afford to do it all in Goa, with so much culture to see and so many trips to take part in.
I visited Goa in April this year and would recommend going this time of year as it's the end of season and therefore is very quiet, very hot and you get the best prices!
With so much to see and do whatever the budget, Goa holidays have got something for everyone. I had an amazing experience and will be returning as soon as possible.
